Wildcat Ranch Property Sells for $44 Million

This sale should help with real estate tracking in the Aspen/Snowmass area: A property in Wildcat Ranch sold for $44 million on Thursday, the Aspen Times reported. That makes it the largest sale in the Aspen-area real estate market since Peter Guber’s Mandalay Ranch sold for $46 million in 2004.
Located west of Snowmass Village in a subdivision, the property includes a 24,000-square-foot main house, a two-bedroom guest house and a five-stall barn. Craig Morris, a partner in Aspen Snowmass Sotheby’s International Realty, was the real estate broker for both the buyer and the seller. The seller is listed as JVB Properties LLC, and the buyer was Skyridge Homes LLC. According to the article, there is little information beyond that about either party. The house was listed for sale for about one year at $50 million.
