A Night On The RunWade A Styling Hit

NBA Champion Dwyane Wade's Night On The RunWade to benefit Wade's World Foundation - Backstage and Show

Dwyane Wade hosted A Night on the RunWade last night at the Moore Building. The fashionable fundraiser which was sponsored by Haute Living, gathered funds for Wade’s World Foundation and took over all four floors for the event.  Neiman Marcus’ fashion show was run behind the scene by Wade’s own stylist, Calyann Barnett, dominated the ground floor, while tasting stations from Miami’s best restaurants occupied the second and third floors. Delectable bites by Zuma (seared waygu tataki with truffle), My Ceviche (ceviche), Milos (branzino with chard and capers) and Shake Shack (Burgers and chocolate custard) were served up by those and many more restaurants. The fourth floor was set up as a strict VIP lounge for the charity’s high rollers.

The crowd mingled and checked out beautiful cars from The Collection, watches on display by Hublot and creative fashion designed by students. A silent auction with sweet items like designer bags and a basketball signed by the Heat helped raise funds for the cause as well. On hand were notables Tracy Mourning, The Collection owner Ken Gorin  and the Today Show’s Jill Martin. When it was time for everyone to take their seats, Louis Aguirre emceed the fashion show.  Wade said at the event, “We’ve done so many things in our 10 years as a foundation, supporting so many different charities in different communities, and this year, in Chicago, we launched a program called Live To Dream.” He is encouraging kids to pledge to live responsibly and with hope.
