Haute Event: Daddy Yankee Parties at Surrender with Diplo on the Decks
Daddy Yankee, regarded as the King of Reggaeton, was spotted Friday night at Surrender Nightclub in Encore Las Vegas sitting at Diplo’s table to see the superstar deejay spin. With a crew of three guys, the reggaeton singer/songwriter, famously known as “El Papi Vaquero,” interacted with several fans eager to meet the music star who has sold more than 10 million albums.
The crowd erupted with cheers when Diplo, who is partly responsible for making “twerking” such a cultural phenomenon with the Nicky B collaboration, “Express Yourself,” gave Daddy Yankee a shout-out from the DJ stage.
