Shot by David Sims, Salvatore Ferramgamo’s Fall-Winter 2013 advertising campaign boasts modern architectural lines against a space radiant with natural light.  The protagonists are Daria Werbowy and Tyson Ballou, models who are captured in a moment of time. Sims isolates the threshold between public and private, the plush interiors and the plein air of the lush garden surrounding the house creating a feeling of organic continuity
between architecture and nature.

 

There is no sign of artificiality, rather every detail boasts sophisticated simplicity and sensual composure. Intense shots and frieze-frames of an untold story paint the canvas of narrative subtraction, while the eye and the imagination of the viewer fill the voids in a frame of essential modernity.
