Haute 100 LA Update: Kathryn Bigelow to be Honored at BAFTA’s Brittania Awards
Kathryn Bigelow will be honored for her achievements in film by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts this fall.
On November 19, the Oscar-winning director will accept her award at the BAFTA Los Angeles Brittania Awards presented by BBC America on Nov. 19.
The 61-year-old filmmaker will accept the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing.
Sir Ben Kingsley will also be honored at the ceremony with the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment.
The evening will be broadcast on BBC America on Nov. 10.
