Haute 100 NY Update: Jay Z To Debut Film at Toronto International Film Festival
Get ready for some serious star power at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival! Hip-hop mogul Jay Z is releasing a film about his role as curator of a new US music festival called Made in America.
“The festival showcases 20 pre-eminent artists that speak to the new generation,” explained the movie’s Oscar-winning director, Ron Howard. “It is going to be born through Jay Z’s perspective… how he puts the event together.”
The Toronto film festival will run September 8-18 and feature 146 world premieres.
