If you’re a fan of both Hermes and the NBA, you’re in luck.

In honor of its Sept 4. Rodeo Drive boutique reopening, the haute French label is offering its first-ever custom-made basketball to the tune of $12,900.

Only two of the balls have been produced at the special-orders atelier in Paris under Pierre-Alexis Dumas‘ creative direction.

The ball is made of blue calfskin and uses the same hand-stitched technique as Hermes’ Birkin bags.

Says U.S. CEO Robert Chavez: “It represents the sky, the ocean and all the beautiful pools that are a way of life in L.A. and Southern California.”
