Haute Event: Oceana Hosts SeaChange Summer Party in Laguna Beach

Celebrity environmental activists banded together for a haute evening celebrating the sea in Laguna Beach yesterday.

Sheryl Crow, Ted Danson, Dennis Haysbert, Angela Kinsey and Anna Torv were among those who gathered at private seaside venue Villa Di Sogni on Sunday for Oceana’s 6th Annual SeaChange summer party.

SeaChange is a fundraiser that benefits Oceana, the world’s largest international organization dedicated solely to protecting the world’s oceans and ensuring our seas can be abundant and productive to help to feed the planet.

The Sunday evening event featured a performance by Grammy winner Crow. Deep sea diver and actor Dennis Haysbert served as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies.

Oceana Board Member Ted Danson and wife Mary Steenburgen were in attendance, as were Oceana activists Anne Heche with husband James Tupper, Emily Osment, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Oscar Nunez, Luke Tipple and Mary Murphy.

SeaChange guests were treated to a cocktail hour with spirits from Patron, a sit-down dinner, presentations from Oceana executives, directors and supporters. There was also a silent and live auction segment during the event.
