Azure Luxury Pool at the Palazzo welcomed NBA players who were in town for the National Basketball Players Association meetings on Wednesday. Rumored newly elected NBPA first vice president Roger Mason Jr. hosted the party along with Jerry Stackhouse, Andre Iguodala and Willie Green. Greeted by cheering fans upon arrival at Azure, the NBA players celebrated the conclusion of this year’s NBPA meetings, held at Congress Center.

Mason, currently a free agent, played last season with the New Orleans Hornets (now known as the Pelicans), and has been involved with NBPA for 10 years. Stackhouse came into the 2013 NBPA meetings as first vice president, and Andre Iguodala and Willie Green both served on the executive committee. Iguodala made headlines this summer when he left the Denver Nuggets to sign a deal with the Golden State Warriors.

The party went long into the night at Azure, which was open exclusively for the special event. The DJ kept the crowd moving with hip hop favorites as popular summer beats and the NBPA hosts enjoyed the party in the poolside cabanas.
