The Gjelina Team Planning Two New Projects

Great news, foodies: the team behind Venice’s celebrity staple Gjelina have two new projects in the works.

Chef Travis Lett and co. are building another eatery just down the street from the modern Italian mainstay on Abbot Kinney.

According to Eater, the team has owned this second Venice space — just down the street from its current location on Abbot Kinney —  for years, but will finally start constructing the resto before the year’s end.

Those expecting Lett’s pizza, charcuterie or garlic-soaked mussels, however, are in for a surprise: it’s been said that he’ll take on Asian-influenced fare and serve ramen.

The second project in the works is a bakery, a space that is currently under construction on Sunset Avenue.
