Bravo Selects Scarpetta’s Nina Compton to Compete in Top Chef
The newest season of Top Chef: New Orleans is getting some Miami chef love.
Bravo has announced the final five chefs who will compete with each other for the coveted title, two of which are based out of Miami. Scarpetta’s Chef de Cuisine Nina Compton who started her career working for Daniel Boulud at Daniel in New York City has been selected to compete after rising to the top at the Fontainebleau restaurant. Top Chef also selected recent Miami transplant Bret Pelaggi (formerly of Chiara Boston) will be dishing it out on the small screen.
Compton and Pelaggi with three others will join Top Chef hosts Padma Lakshmi and Tom Colicchio, alongside with special guests David Chang and Eddie Huang.
Top Chef: New Orleans premieres on October 2nd on Bravo.
