Bloomingdale’s celebrates 50th Anniversary of Beatlemania
Luxury department store Bloomingdales is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Beatlemania with a new collection called Brit Style.
To pay homage to the Beatles, the department store will bring together dozens of Britain’s most famous fashion brands including Burberry, Paul Smith and Alexander McQueen’s McQ label. It will also offer exclusive merchandise from Ted Baker, Thomas Pink and Ben Sherman.
“This is an ode to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles in the US and part of a wider programme celebrating British style,” explained a spokesperson for Bloomingdale’s.
Designer Sir Paul Smith and Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey will also discuss the Beatles’ impact on fashion in a new interview series called ‘Talk in Chic.’
