Alec Baldwin & Wife Give Birth to Daughter in NY

There’s another Baldwin in NYC! Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Thomas Baldwin, welcomed their first child together on Friday, Aug. 23.

“We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter Carmen Gabriela. She is absolutely perfect. @ABFalecbaldwin @IrelandBBaldwin,” tweeted the first-time mom and special correspondent for the TV show Extra.

The 55-year-old actor has a  17-year-old daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage to actress Kim Basinger. Ready to take on “big sister” responsibilities, Ireland sent a twitter message welcoming her new sister into the world and linked to a blog post with 10 pieces of advice for the newborn.
