Maria Sharapova has upped her game by hiring Jimmy Connors as her new coach. One day after announcing that she would no longer be working with Thomas Hogstedt, the 26-year-old tennis player announced on her website that she had hired the eight-time champion.

One day after announcing that she would no longer be working with Thomas Hogstedt, the 26-year-old tennis player announced on her website that she had hired the eight-time champion.
Connors was Andy Roddick‘s coach for two years before resigning in 2008.
