LA’s already red hot culinary scene is about to get even hauter.
Both Curtis Stone and Timothy Hollingsworth have both revealed planned to open restaurants in the City of Angels.
The former has confirmed plans to open an eatery in Beverly Hills where Pici formerly resided. The Australian “Celebrity Apprentice” star will serve farm-to-table fare at his still-unnamed restaurant.
Hollingsworth, former chef de cuisine at Thomas Keller’s French Laundry in Yountville, is still in the developmental stages of his restaurant, but nevertheless has confirmed that he will be bringing his haute cuisine to LA.
He is currently acting as a consultant for Michael Zislis’ Southbay properties, of which include The Strand House and Circa and is revamping the menu at Manhattan Beach’s Shade Hotel.
Though still unnamed, he told San Francisco’s Inside Scoop that he’s toying with a “casual restaurant, maybe with a Mexican theme.”
