Haute Event: The Jet Age Lands at Rodeo Drive’s Concours d’Elegance
It was a fabulous Father's Day as usual in Beverly Hills at Rodeo Drive's 20th annual Concours d'Elegance. For the first time ever, a 68-foot-long Learjet 85 courtesy of Flexjet was parked at Wilshire and Rodeo, dominating three blocks of the famous street.
It was a fabulous Father’s Day as usual in Beverly Hills at Rodeo Drive’s 20th annual Concours d’Elegance.
For the first time ever, a 68-foot-long Learjet 85 courtesy of Flexjet was parked at Wilshire and Rodeo, dominating three blocks of the famous street.
Three brand-new Ferraris courtesy of Ferrari of Beverly Hills: a 458, FF and a California Spyder could also be found on Rodeo, as were vintage automobiles including ’59 Cadillacs and the Batmobile from the movie “Batman Returns.”
The event also drew car enthusiasts like Bruce Jenner, Jay Leno, comedian Jeff Dunham and racer Derek Hill.
In addition to celebrating Learjet, it also feted the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911.
Those who wanted a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Rodeo headed over to the Luxe Hotel to watch the crowd from Chivas Regal’s VIP Lounge.
