Haute Event: Edeyo Gives Hope Ball on July 10
The 2013 Edeyo Gives Hope Ball will take place on July 10 at the Highline Ballroom from 7-10 pm. The Edeyo Foundation, a NYC-based non-profit organization, improves the future of Haitian children through educational programs. Edeyo’s primary school in Port-au-Prince changes lives every day by supplying free education, food, water, health care and social support. Since its genesis in 2007, the foundation has grown to annually provide 254 children with a bastion. Ensuring long-term success, Edeyo gives full scholarships to 22 high school students as well.
Sponsored by HBO, Maserati of Long Island and Nike, the fun-filled evening will include a cocktail hour, gourmet buffet dinner, silent auction, musical performance by Grammy award-winning Bridget Kelly and an interactive presentation about the mission of the Edeyo Foundation. The event will be hosted by Stephen Baldwin and is chaired by Nigel Barker, Dylan McDermott, Kamal Hotchandani, John Meadow, and many more devoted philanthropists.
