Bartender Exchange Series at Untitled Chicago

Two months in and the Bartender Exchange series at Untitled (111 West Kinzie) is a spectacular success. On July 9th, Untitled’s resident mixologist Christopher Marty steps behind the bar alongside his brother and fellow bartender Calvin Marty from River North’s Tavernita. They’ll be joined by the talented Angel’s Envy Whiskey Guardian Trina Nishimura from The Cedars Social in Dallas, a 2013 James Beard Semi-Finalist for ‘Best Bar Program.’ As the trio shakes, stirs and mixes behind Untitled’s illustrious Whiskey Library, guests are invited to discuss and enjoy all things whiskey as they cheer on the three bartenders and sample their masterpieces.

As any 1920’s-inspired supper club should, Untitled Chicago in River North offers a stunning menu of American whiskies, scotches and bourbons. From the country’s most popular brands to small batch distillers and hard-to-find spirits, the Whiskey Library features more than 300 American whiskies. Untitled’s Whiskey Bar is a bartender’s sanctuary and the perfect setting to play around with this sexy liquor. But the Bartender Exchange needed the right whiskey. As a small-batch artisan bourbon, Angel’s Envy Kentucky Bourbon was the perfect partner. Aged up to six years and painstakingly finished in imported port-wine casks, Angel’s Envy is a subtle, complex and incomparably smooth bourbon that’s perfect for cocktails or just plain sipping. With whiskey’s ever-increasing popularity, Untitled and Angel’s Envy believed this to be the perfect time to launch a monthly series that puts the spotlight on both whiskey and the highly skilled bartenders that have helped to breathe new life into our favorite classic spirit. Look out for the series every second Tuesday of the month from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more information or to make reservations to Untitled, just head over to www.untitledchicago.com.
