Baccarat Unveils New Flagship Store on Madison Ave
Baccarat opened its brand new NYC flagship boutique at 635 Madison Avenue yesterday. Designed by lauded architect Rafael de Cárdenas, the 2,800 square foot space with a two-story façade reflects the timeless yet innovative style of the famed French crystal house. The store’s glamorous design sets the new global retail model for the brand, revealing tableware, lighting, decorative pieces and jewelry of the Baccarat life. Effulgent chandeliers and carefully-selected dark woods and fabrics form an intimate environment for customers to interact with the products. “This new flagship store is a landmark of the luxury, glamour and prestige that has set Baccarat apart,” said Michelle Klein, President & CEO of Baccarat North America. “It is a space for discerning shoppers to fully appreciate the brand’s most coveted designs and to experience the unique Baccarat lifestyle, which celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2014.”
