Rivaage Boutique in Sunset Mall will be celebrating the exciting world of fashion of couture today with some of their most talented designers – Maher and Riddhima and Gaurav Gupta.
The event features Gaurav Gupta – an alumni of the prestigious Saint Martin’s college in London, who has since worked with the likes of Stella McCartney and Tristan Webber. Gupta has a very unique and distinctive style and constantly experiments with colors, fabrics and styles to create unique garments for women, men, children and kids. He has collaborated with Swarowski on jewelry pieces and he has become well known for this use of three dimensional embroidery in his garments which incorporate tradition and modernity.
Originally childhood friends, Maher and Riddhima (M&R), have together created a unique collection of womenswear and accessories. The UAE born designers who are graduates of the American University of Dubai, use a variety of soft materials like crepes, silks, chiffons and georgettes in bold colors to create a rather unique collection of garments that has captured the attention of chic clients, celebrities and press who are looking for the perfect outfit to capture their inherent femininity.
The event will be held today from 17-20pm. Guests will be treated to a personalised accessory especially created by Maher and Riddhima.
