Haute Time : Bell & Ross and IWC

The BR 01-97 Climb

Bell & Ross has added a new timepiece to its aeronautical instruments inspired line of timepieces – The BR 01-97 Climb. This impressive model is inspired by the Variometer, an instrument used in planes to let the pilot know if the plane is descending, ascending or level. The case of the BR 01-97 Climb is 46 mm steel coated with black carbon PVD and features an ETA 2897 automatic movement with power reserve. The black dial features hours, minutes, seconds, date window and a power reserve indicator. The numerals and hands feature white photo luminescent coating and a black phantom hour hand to really capture the look of the cockpit instrument. The Bell & Ross BR 01-97 Climb is shown on a rubber strap and is part of a limited collection of 999 pieces, 99 of which will be released as part of an exclusive collector’s box.
