Tao Beach at the Venetian celebrated its season opening on Saturday with a star-studded daytime event backed by the sounds by DJ Eric D-Lux. Stars including Ashlee Simpson, Odette Annable, Mario Lopez, Holly Madison, Trinidad James, Busta Rhymes, Ray Rice and more came out to celebrate the summer kick-off.

Ashlee Simpson, actress Odette Annable and a group of girlfriends mingled in a VIP cabana for a friend’s bachelorette bash. The group snacked on small bites and took in the pool scene before the bride-to-be was surprised with a three-tier pink and black cake congratulating her engagement. Earlier on the red carpet, Odette posed in a coral Chanel dress and said that having a baby is “definitely on the radar” while talking about upcoming plans for Mother’s Day.

Holly Madison arrived in a flowing summer dress with friends including “Holly’s World” co-stars Josh Strickland and Laura Croft. On the red carpet she shared how much she loves being a mom, stating that the first thing she thinks when she sees daughter Rainbow every morning is how amazing and gorgeous she is. Later, Holly showed off her post-baby body, donning a blue string-bikini and even taking a quick dip into the pool. Pin-up model and Playboy Playmate Claire Sinclair also joined the group in their cabana.

After spending the previous night hosting Tao Nightclub, Mario Lopez checked out the daytime party scene from Tao Beach’s grand cabana, which overlooks the entire pool area. While on the red carpet Mario stated that spring is a good time to reassess your life and have balance — work hard to play hard.

Trinidad James sported his unique style on the red carpet before joining the festivities inside. The “All Gold Everything” rapper was seen dancing at his cabana before jumping into the DJ booth as DJ Eric D-Lux dropped his hit single to a dancing crowd. Trinidad was also seen chatting with comedian Aziz Ansari, rapper Trae tha Truth and Holly Madison before saluting fellow rapper Busta Rhymes, who also jumped into the DJ booth as the crowd went wild as his new song “Twerk It” played. Busta took to the mic and surprised guests with a performance of “Look at Me Now” as well as other classic hits. R&B singers Tank and Lonny Bereal joined Busta for the party.

Superbowl champs Ray Rice and Vonta Leach from the Baltimore Ravens hung out in a cabana along with C.J. Miles of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Vernon Davis of the San Francisco 49ers and Levante David of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
