Photos: Garbage Plays the Pearl at the Palms

Garbage put on a high energy show on Friday night at The Pearl at the Palms. Opening band Kitten set the mood for the show with an amazing set that blew Garbage fans away, but just one step on the stage by front woman Shirley Manson and all bets were off. Performing hits spanning the band’s career, Garbage put on an intense set much to the joys of the passionate audience — many of whom lined up at 8 a.m. Friday morning just to be the first group into the venue.
Tonight, The Pearl will be taken over by Trent Reznor’s new band How To Destroy Angels. A special surround sound system was brought in and installed just for the show – a first for The Pearl.
