Photos: Celebs Help the Richard Petty Driving Experience Kick Off the American Muscle Car Experience
Vegas celebrities dropped by the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Tuesday to help launch the new American Muscle Car Challenge by Richard Petty Driving Experience. Local celebrities included: Claire Sinclair from Stratosphere’s PINUP, dancers from Fantasy, John Payne from Raiding the Rock Vault, BMX pro Ricardo Laguna, the men from Thunder From Down Under, Top Chef contestant Carla Pellegrino, Nathan from Chippendales, Melody Sweets and Michal from Absinthe and Justin from Recycled Percussion.
The celebs drove American muscle cars such as the Dodge Challenger SRT8392, Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and CamaroZL1.
Lorena Peril of Fantasy sang the “National Anthem” in a beautiful acoustic style. Claire Sinclair of PINUP announced, “Gentlemen, start your engines.”
Ricardo Laguna won the acceleration module, going from 0 to 60 mph in 3.99 seconds in a Camaro.
Top speed winners included Justin with Recycled Percussion, who hit 129 mph.
