LACMA is about to get fashionable again this spring.
The museum is presenting its second installment of Wear LACMA, which showcases limited-edition pieces for purchase that are inspired by the museum’s permanent collection.
The preliminary collection launched last fall with Gregory Parkinson and Johnson Hartig of Libertine.
The Spring 2013 pieces include a scent by fragrance designer Haley Alexander van Oosten of L’Oeil du Vert, two leather pouchettes by Maryam and Marjan Malakpour of NewbarK, and gold and bronze jewelry designed by CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Juan Carlos Obando.
The pieces are available starting tomorrow online; all proceeds benefit the museum.
