Haute Event: Deadmau5 Plays Hakkasan; Rev Run and DJ Ruckus Play the Ling Ling Club
Las Vegas’ newly opened nightlife destination Hakkasan at the MGM Grand continued its grand opening weekend festivities with dance music phenomenon Deadmau5 as he spun his famed remixes for thousands of partygoers with the return of his exclusive “unhooked” event series.
Arriving to the nightlife mecca around 1 a.m., the celebrated headlining deejay took his place behind the turntables and began his heart-pumping set. The energy of the main room exploded with excitement as the mau5head donning deejay sensation played hit after hit into the early hours of the morning.
Over at the club’s Ling Ling Club was hip-hop icon and MC Rev Run and celebrated DJ Ruckus as they put on an energetic set taking guests on a musical journey while they played crowd favorite hits including “It’s Tricky,” “Walk This Way” and more. The duo kept their fans on their feet as they sang and danced along.
Grammy Award-winner Miguel arrived at the Ling Ling Club around 2 a.m. and put on a surprise performance for the packed room. The R&B hit maker stood on top of the DJ booth and sang his chart-topping singles “Sure Thing” and “Adorn.” Thanking guests for allowing him to perform for them he made his way out of the DJ booth and to his table where he joined his beautiful girlfriend Nazanin Mandi and friends.
Also spotted partying at Hakkasan Nightclub’s main room and Ling Ling Club was apl.de.ap of The Black Eyed Peas, famed rap group Three 6 Mafia and Tom Welling of the CW’s hit series “Smallville.”
