Haute 100 LA Update: Kathleen Kennedy Honored With Pioneer of the Year Award at CinemaCon
Kathleen Kennedy accepted the title of Pioneer of the Year when she was awarded with said award at Las Vegas’ CinemaCon on Wednesday night.
The Lucasfilm co-chair was introduced by Sally Field at the ceremony, held at the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation at Caesars Palace.
Said Field: “In an industry that is not and has not been female friendly…Kathy has beaten those odds the only way a woman can — by being so much better than most everyone else.”
