Art lovers came together this week to raise over $1.1 million for Project Angel Food thanks to a collaboration between Sotheby’s and CAA.
Angel Art, a contemporary art auction that brought together the worlds of art and entertainment, was held at the Creative Artists Agency for the ninth year in a row on Tuesday.
All proceeds will be donated to Project Angel Food, a meal-delivery program which donates food to those suffering from life-threatening diseases such as HIV/AIDS and cancer.
Attendees included CAA’s Bryan Lourd and Kevin Huvane, as well as Glee creator Ryan Murphy, Darren Starr, Maria Bell and Deborah McLeod.
Auction items included a commissioned portrait by Dave Muller and a fish lamp sculpture by Frank Gehry.
