Haute Event: Ann Getty and John Hall Nelson celebrate J Nelson’s 12th Anniversary and Ann Getty Interior Style

Ann Getty and John Hall Nelson co-hosted a posh party celebrating the 12th anniversary of J Nelson and the publication of Ann Getty Interior Style. The fete took place at J Nelson’s Hollywood, Florida showroom and brought out everyone including Haute Listers Criselda and Jonathan Breene, Ruth and Alan Zelcer, among others. Iran Issa-Khan exhibited her breathtaking artwork, along with Fernando Baliño and Santiago Rubino. New York based fashion designer Timo Weiland provided the sound for the evening, while Thierry Isambert created a delectable spread of French, Italian and Belgian Cheeses with Lapin Rillette; Petite Lamb Chops, Tenderloin of Beef, Truffle Risotto, Grilled Asparagus and Pommes Dauphinoise.  Guests filled their plates before cozying up on elegant and well appointed furnishings throughout the showroom, where they happily wined and dined nestled amongst designer furniture and luxurious silk and velvet textiles. Delightful desserts, including Rhubarb Tarts and Bourbon Bread Pudding were enjoyed, as well as Rose Water and Cassis Macaroons.  A tea expert was on hand with selections from Mariage Frères- Paris. Guests departed with a gift bag containing a Swarovski Crystal necklace from Swarovski Elements. The evening was orchestrated by Mr. Nelson’s long-time collaborator Michael Leondas Kirkland and his lifestyle firm, mkarte.
