Celebrity Spotting: CeeLo Green Makes a Dramatic Entrance to Vegas
CeeLo Green made an over-the-top entrance to Vegas on Tuesday night when he officially arrived at his new home at Planet Hollywood Resort. His entourage stopped traffic on the Las Vegas Strip by riding on a flatbed truck with a flaming piano surrounded by dancing showgirls.
With the sound of CeeLo’s biggest hits, “Bright Lights,” “Crazy” and “Forget You” taking over The Strip, fans and onlookers lined Las Vegas Boulevard to welcome CeeLo as Planet Hollywood’s new, highly-anticipated resident artist, who opens his truly unique, brand new show, “CeeLo Green is Loberace.”
When he arrived, CeeLo was greeted by Jubilee! showgirls from Bally’s Las Vegas, who lined the red carpeted front steps leading up to CeeLo’s new home. David Hoenemeyer, regional president of Planet Hollywood Resort, officially welcomed CeeLo by having the star cement his hand prints, which will be displayed on the property alongside the hand prints of other iconic celebrities.
