BierBeisl, Tar & Roses, Karen Hatfield, Ricardo Zarate, Josef Centeno and David LeFevre are just a few of the names that have been cut from the running.
What remains: Mozza and its past award-winning chef Nancy Silverton in the “Outstanding Chef” category, Valentino’s Piero Selvaggio as “Outstanding Restaurateur,” Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Animal and Son of a Gun are jointly up for “Best Chef West” while Lucques’ Suzanne Goin is in the running as “Outstanding Chef”; her partner Caroline Styne is also nominated as “Outstanding Restaurateur.”
