Yohji Yamamoto Once Again makes Sportswear Chic at Fashion Week
Yohji Yamamoto once again proves that sportswear can be chic with Y-3’s fall 2013 collection. Proportion was very much a focus this season, with the proportions of coats, trousers, and even shoes being played around with. From cropped jackets to oversized coats, tight trousers to baggier shorts, and even sneakers to platforms, the designer’s play with proportion gave a wide range of shapes to the collection. However, despite the unconventional silhouettes, everything felt very wearable thanks to the mostly darker color palette.
