Wooden Shoe be Mine – ArtPoint Gala for deYoung- Haute Pics right here!
Setting the scene up top was a beautifully lit up windmill. Tucked away downstairs from all the cacophony was the actual exhibit. The installation was serene, stunning and transporting. The dark walls and stark lighting only showcased the renown highlighting that these dutch masters created in their works. Everyone concurred how Vermeer’s Girl With the Pearl Earring was similarly exhibited like the Mona Lisa in the Louve. Then you stepped away from Amsterdam and back into the throbbing party going on in San Francisco’s deYoung.
Looking for inspiration on the dance floor? The San Francisco Ballet School Trainee Program had 2 special showings to accompany the closing out of Nureyev exhibi.
