It’s one thing to ski above 11,000 feet during the day, but it’s another to ride the Silver Queen Gondola and play in the moonlight at night. The popular Party Under the Stars returns to Aspen Mountain this Saturday, Feb. 16, during which foot passengers can board the gondola beginning at 5:30 p.m and spend the evening dining, drinking and dancing at 11,212 feet inside the Sundeck restaurant. Live music, a glass of red wine and fresh Pad Thai all taste a little better when they require a 14-minute gondola ride to earn them.
Tickets are $10 for non-season pass holders and $5 for all pass holders and kids age 4-12. Kids three and under are free. Gondola uploading is from 5:30 to 8 p.m., with the last download at 9:30 p.m. Party Under the Stars returns March 1 and 15.
