Just as we saw with Ralph Lauren’s romantic revolutionary, there was a Russian influence at Calvin Klein Collection for Fall 2013. At New York Fashion Week, designer Francisco Costa cited Ivan’s Childhood, a WWII-era film about a Russian orphan, as inspiration. Design duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez unveiled masterpiece collection of black and white for Fall 2013 at New York Fashion Week. Even though there was not a pop of color to be seen, this was one of the richest seasons yet from Proenza Schouler, with a graphic take on the textures that have always dominated the line.
