Entertainment Tonight has announced on Monday that the eldest child of the late pop star Prince Michael Jackson has been made an on-air correspondent for their acclaimed TV news show.

Over the weekend, the 16-year-old began his new life at the Fourth Estate at a junket in Pasadena for Disney’s Oz the Great and Powerful.

During Monday’s program Jackson told ET’s Brooke Anderson “I’m looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor.”

As a part of the Oz junket, Jackson’s duties included interviewing actors James Franco and Zach Braff and director Sam Raimi. It seems the trio was a big help. In fact, Jackson asked them for advice in getting started in the entertainment business.

Jackson is of course a minor so his appearances on ET could very much be random and few but the good news is his Oz reporting has been promised to be featured throughout the week, making this a huge accomplishment for such a young upcoming star.
