Katy Perry House Hunts Around the Bird Streets

Pop star Katy Perry was recently seen checking out a four-bedroom, 6,500-square-feet contemporary home just above the Sunset Strip in the bird streets. The property has been on the market for sale since October, but somehow has caught Perry’s eye.

Katy Perry is considering leasing the lovely home, instead of buying. In the past Perry has been no stranger to purchasing homes and possibly just wants to take a break. She and her ex-husband of 14-months, Englishman Russell Brand spent $6.5 million on an historic three-acre gated estate in Laurel Canyon. Also, Perry purchased a New York City penthouse in Tribeca for $2.98 million, but sold it shortly after their breakup so one could understand wanting to take a real estate hiatus. As for now, the pop princess is renting somewhere in West Hollywood, with hopes of her next big move.

Perry recently was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance for her smash hit “Wide Awake,” and has been dating singer songwriter John Mayer. Despite, her busy schedule Perry’s heart is definitely set on this beautiful home. The asking price of this contemporary home is $6.295 million.
