Merging fashion with technology is something the hit show Project Runway has showcased since beginning its partnership with HP. This year the world’s largest tech company again makes an appearance on the 11th season of Lifetime Television’s Emmy Award-nominated hit, celebrating five years of incorporating technology into the compelling fashion competition and recognizing its increasing impact on the creative arts. This season, HP products including the TouchSmart, Envy, Elitebook and Spectre XT Ultra book all helped designers with their creative process, but in one episode specifically the HP ENVY All-in-one PC will be used to make textile pattern ideas.

To celebrate the collaboration, HP sat guests in the front row at the Project Runway finale taping held at Lincoln Center during Fashion Week where Heidi Klum, Maria Garcia, Zac Posen, and special guest Michael Kors judged the final collections. After the show, VIPs were brought up to the HP and Covergirl lounge at the Empire Hotel where celebrities, editors and fashionistas were able to update social media and show reviews from all the HP products while getting their nails done, hair blown out or makeup touched up.

The real party got underway Saturday night when HP hosted the Past designers party where fan favorites like Althea Harper, Elisa Jimenez, Jack Mackenroth, Chris March, Nick Verreos, and Stella Zotis all gathered at Skylight Studios to celebrate the success of the show and where they talked about where they’ve been since competing on TV, and shared thoughts on who they think will win the upcoming season.
