Lucky slot players at the Palms competed in the “Amazing Palms Race” hosted by Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis, also known as “Jaymes and James,” the runner up winners of Season 21 of the “Amazing Race.” The duo was on hand to celebrate the new “Amazing Race” In It to Win It Video Slots on Sunday.
After swiping their Club Palms cards for a chance to enter and earning additional entries by playing, five lucky players were drawn to compete in five different “Amazing Race” style competitions including competing against the dealer to land a hard blackjack, guessing flavors of gelato from Chocolat Bistro and finding a hidden suitcase across the casino floor with the guidance of a clue. The team that completed each challenge in the shortest amount of combined time overall won a $2,500 cash prize. The lucky winner, Jerry Daniels took home the cash prize and posed for photos with Jaymes and James.
Before the competition, Jaymes and James signed photos for eager fans and posed for photos at the slot machine. Season 22 of “The Amazing Race” premieres Feb. 17 on CBS.
