The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles Reveals $1mm Champions Lounge

There’s a haute new VIP destination in downtown Los Angeles, and that is the Champions Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. Live.

A private reception was held late last week to introduce the new million-dollar residents-only lounge. Designed by the Bowery Design Group, the space offers full-service amenities including a breakfast and coffee bar, a featured state-of-the-art wine-tasting and storage vault, one-of-a-kind glass billiard table, an onyx high-top table lit from within, and a media room perfect for private screenings. Each artisanal amenity was carefully selected or uniquely designed for its beauty and elegance, including the glass billiard table that was custom designed in Australia specifically for the Lounge.

LA Kings players and 2012 Stanley Cup winners Tim Leiweke and Anze Kopitar were also on hand at the reception to unveil and dedicate a specially commissioned sculpture designed by Lasvit Lighting featuring Swarovski crystals representing all the World Championships won by Los Angeles teams since the opening of STAPLES Center in 1999.

The 700mm diameter crystal rings will now be permanently displayed on the 27th floor of the Residences.

The rings, designed by Czech artisan Katarina Kudejova Fulinova, are a collaboration between interior designers Bowery Design Group and Czech-based glass manufacturer Lasvit.
