Haute Event: George Clooney and Rande Gerber Launch Casamigos Tequila at Andrea’s

Casamigos Tequila founders actor George Clooney and nightlife entrepreneur Rande Gerber celebrated the launch of Casamigos on Thursday night at Andrea’s at Encore Las Vegas.

With business partner Mike Meldman, Clooney and Gerber arrived at Andrea’s, where they were greeted by Steve Wynn and his wife, Andrea Wynn, the restaurant’s namesake. Clooney and Gerber then went behind the bar, where a prominent photograph of Andrea’s eyes watched on, to pour Casamigos for a few lucky patrons in the stylish lounge.

The group then dined together enjoying executive chef Joseph Elevado’s Asian cuisine which included a vast selection of shared plates such as steamed edamame, shishito peppers, crispy pan fried noodles, crab fried rice, spicy pork ragu noodles, tofu fried rice, king crab and fluke roll, cucumber roll, wagyu beef and lobster roll, an assortment of sushi, shellfish on ice, New York strip steak, and miso black cod.

Clooney and Gerber finished off the evening at Surrender Nightclub next to Andrea’s, where Steve Aoki played a DJ set.
