Bowling Alley in Snowmass May Become a Reality
Bowling is a term usually reserved for skiing in Aspen Highlands’ infamous hike-to steep terrain, but the pins-and-ball sport may be coming to Snowmass this summer, the Aspen Daily News reported. Mark Reece recently signed a lease for a below-grade 6,000-square foot space near the Snowmass mall with plans to open an eight-lane “boutique” bowling alley. The space, which once house a movie theater and ballroom, will also serve gourmet food and be outfitted with couches.
Currently, the closest bowling alley is El Jebowl, located 20 miles from Aspen in El Jebel.
