The Line Hotel Welcomes All-Star Team Next Summer

As of next summer, big things will be happening for residents in L.A. who simply love to eat, drink and enjoy the all-around ambiance of one of the most talked about hotels in town.  Currently, the Wilshire Hotel on Wilshire is going under renovation with the help of The Sydell Group of NYC and The NoMad, so in the meantime, designer Sean Knibb of A-Frame, chef Roy Choi of Chego, Kogi, A-Frame, and nightlife brothers Mark and Jonnie Houston will be teaming up at The Line to bring all the best of Korea Town to Los Angeles from food, drinks and design.

For those who don’t know, The Line is a new urban boutique hotel set to open next summer with the hands of this fabulous all-star team. In fact, The Sydell Group are no strangers to sealing deals with hotels. They are the true backbone of The NoMad Hotel in Manhattan, who also host to The NoMad restaurant. This spectacular restaurant is run by Daniel Humm and Will Guidara. The NoMad restaurant , NYC’s three Michelin-star dining destination is one of the toughest reservations in The City, so it was only a matter of time before LA decided to use such an all-star team.

The Sydell Group is also getting set to open a hotel in Miami designed by Roman & Williams called Freehand. The exclusive spot will have a permanent Broken Shaker bar installed by the Bar Lab guys, so we look forward to seeing the eats and drinks there.

As for the taste of K-Town coming to The Line, chef Roy Choi will be overseeing all of the food selections, while The Houston brothers will be taking care of the property’s nightlight ventures. Also, Sean Knibb, who worked at A-Frame with Choi will do what he does best, design. Overall, guests can get set to enjoy tons of food and beverages very soon at the Line.
