Salvatore Ferragamo Celebrate Bond Street Re-Opening With Jessica Alba

In 1938, Italian designer Salvatore Ferragamo opened his first three boutiques, in Florence, Rome and London. This week, after almost 75 years, Ferragamo’s design director Massimiliano Giornetti toasted the re-opening of their newly renovated London store with the help of celebrity fans like Jessica Alba and Camilla Belle.

The exclusive boutique, located on Old Bond Street, hosted a cocktail party for nearly two hundred VIP guests. Hollywood starlets like Alba and Belle, both wearing head-to-toe Ferragamo, mingled with guests like Amber & Yasmin Le Bon, Jasmine Guinness, Tallulah Harlech, Lady Mary Charteris, Annabelle Neilson, Elizabeth von Guttman, Polly Morgan, Marc Quinn and Olivia Grant. Ferragamo’s descendants, including Ferruccio and Ilaria Ferragamo, James Ferragamo, Fulvia Visconti Ferragamo and Leonardo Ferragamo, joined in the festivities.

An Italian dinner at the Royal Burlington Arcades followed the cocktails, with guests hopping over to the prestigious Mayfair location built in 1819 by Lord Cavendish. The gallery, where visitors are still required to observe a formal conduct, was recently restored to its ancient splendor, making it a stunning backdrop for the 60 meter-long dinner tables adorned with 10,000 Ferragamo-red roses and 700 Christmas candles.

The Salvatore Ferragamo boutique is located at 24 Old Bond Street, City of Westminster, W1S 4AL. For more information call 020 7629 5007 or visit the Salvatore Ferragamo website. Photos courtesy Salvatore Ferragamo.
