Limited Time: Four Ski Resorts, One Price

If the names Jackson Hole, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, Alta and Aspen/Snowmass mean anything to you, then the Mountain Collective pass probably does too. For the first time in history, the four resorts have teamed up to offer a collaborative pass to each mountain, and the deadline to purchase is Dec. 19.

For $379, adults will receive two lift tickets to each of the respective mountains, good for the 2012-13 season. In addition, Mountain Collective holders get an unlimited number of half-off tickets, and 25 percent off lodging in the participating areas.

The unprecedented partnership between the ski resorts offers more than 16,000 acres of skiing on 105 combined lifts in four different states. That’s a lot of exploring for anyone, from the diehard snowboard bum to the adventurous ski vacationer from New York City. The pass allows skiers to try out different mountains at a reasonable rate–ideal for the noncommittal resort skier.
