Haute Event: Reese Witherspoon Honored at March of Dimes Luncheon for Perfect Parenting Skills

Reese Witherspoon has received the highest honor any mother could receive: she’s been dubbed a perfect parent.

The mother of three was feted by the March of Dimes, the leading non-profit organization for pregnancy and baby health, at their 7th annual Celebration of Babies luncheon on Friday.

Witherspoon received the 2012 Grace Kelly Award, which recognizes role-model celebrity parents, from fellow blonde thespian Elizabeth Banks.

Additional awards were handed out to Nickelodeon Group President Cyma Zarghami, who was named Inspiring Woman of the Year for her accomplishments as both a mother and a leader in the entertainment industry; medical doctor Bryan Oshiro received the 2012 Elaine Whitelaw Volunteer Service Award, while Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were recognized for being part of the Celebration of Babies Stork Club, which is for expecting and new parents.

Mariah Carey’s husband Nick Cannon served as master of ceremonies to a crowd that included Susan & Robert Downey Jr., Witherspoon’s husband Jim Toth, Molly Sims and husband Scot Stuber, Tom Hanks, Hilary Duff and MIke Comrie, Alyson Hanigan, Amanda Peet, Ron Meyer, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Brian Grazer.

Over $1 million was raised at the event, which was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
