Friday nights in Snowmass just got better, with the start of Ullr Nights at the new Elk Camp restaurant tonight. Attendees must take the gondola to the mid-mountain restaurant, where they’ll be to greeted with s’mores, hot chocolate, a bonfire and ice skating, plus a la carte food items and drinks.
Elk Camp replaces Cafe Suzanne, at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola. The $12.9 million project was finished this fall and opened Thanksgiving weekend. The Friday evening party is one of few opportunities that the Aspen Skiing Co. invites guests onto their mountains in the dark, and offers a unique experience to anyone who’s familiar with the resort during the day. Snowmass is one of four SkiCo mountains.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and season pass-holders. Ullr Nights will continue every Friday through March 29. The gondola runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
