Jay-Z and Beyoncé are the true definition of a power couple, with their rise to fame to their loving hearts and admiration to their fans all around the world. Many just can’t get enough of this dynamic duo and are wondering just what will they do next? Well, in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, many are calling the music mogul Jay-Z a guardian angel in TriBeCa.
Even though both superstars were said to have found refuge uptown, along with Blue Ivy at the Mandarin Oriental, after the storm, many neighbors in TriBeCa are buzzing with gratitude to Jay-Z. Word around town is that the part owner of the Brooklyn Nets showed just how much juice he had, literally, by purchasing a generator to power 195 Hudson St., where the lovely couple owns an upscale loft which cost nearly $7 million.
According to New York Post, Jay’s rep simply stated “no comment,” when asked about his good deed to the neighborhood. Just a few days ago, Beyoncé and Jay-Z were seen together enjoying a fun night out at a Brooklyn Nets game. The beautiful songstress was almost unrecognizable while rocking her new blunt bangs and straight hair, which is becoming one of this season’s hottest looks. As for Jay, leading up to today’s election, the hip-hop mogul performed along with Bruce Springsteen at a rally for President Obama in Ohio just yesterday.
