Haute Preview: Katy Perry + Nigel Lythgoe to be Honored at Dream Foundation Gala in Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara’s Bacara Resort + Spa is about to become one haute spot on November 16.
Nigel Lythgoe and Katy Perry are among the celebrities who are going to descend upon the stunning resort as honorees of the 11th Annual Celebration of Dreams Gala.
The events will fete Lythgoe and Perry for the philanthropic services they’ve provided to families served by the Dream Foundation as well as their dedication and commitment to a multitude of nonprofit organizations and humanitarian causes.
Others taking part in the event include The Tenors, Adam Shankman, “American Idol” star Casey Abrams, celebrity chef Cat Cora and DJ Mia Moretti.
Said Dream Foundation Founder and President Thomas Rollerson: “I loved the idea our Chairs presented to forego fashion this year and focus on compassion. Our dream recipients and their families are our primary honorees of the night. But without the support of advocates like Nigel and Katy, we simply would not have the resources to touch their lives, to serve their final dreams. Nigel and Katy live by example, embodying a message of being true to your dreams and compassionate to mankind.
