Alex Rodriguez has come under fire recently for seriously diminishing returns on his game despite his $29 million salary, and the New Yankees slugger might be looking to avoid further financial controversy with a piddling show of monetary support for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign. A-Rod donated just $250 to the Republican candidate, a figure included in a roundup of athletes’ political affiliations on this Election Day.
